Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ValidateItnow ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and service (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account details — your email address (via magic link sign-in or OAuth).
  • Product information — the product name, description, target customer, and any other content you enter when generating landing pages.
  • Waitlist signups — when visitors sign up to your published landing pages, we store the email and any other fields you collect on your behalf.
  • Support requests — emails or messages you send us.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data — page views, button clicks, and feature usage to operate and improve the Service.
  • Device data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer.
  • Cookies and local storage — used for authentication, preferences, and basic analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

2. How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To generate landing-page copy and analyze idea viability via AI providers.
  • To process payments and prevent fraud.
  • To send transactional emails (account, billing, security).
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Sub-processors and third parties

We share data only with the following sub-processors, strictly to operate the Service:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Anthropic (Claude) and/or OpenAI — AI providers used to generate landing-page copy and viability scores. The product description you submit is sent to these providers; they are contractually prohibited from training models on it.
  • Paddle.com Market Limited — merchant of record and payment processor for paid subscriptions. Paddle handles your payment method, invoice, and applicable taxes. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.
  • Vercel — application hosting and edge delivery.
  • Email delivery provider — for sending transactional emails (e.g., Resend).

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Waitlist signups on your pages

When a visitor signs up on a landing page you publish, you (the page owner) are the controller of that data; we act as a processor on your behalf. You are responsible for compliance with applicable laws (such as obtaining lawful consent and providing a privacy notice to your subscribers).

5. Legal bases (EEA / UK)

If you are in the EEA or UK, we process personal data under these bases:

  • Contract — to provide the Service you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interests — operating, securing, and improving the Service.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with applicable law.
  • Consent — where required, e.g. certain cookies.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data.
  • Object to or restrict processing.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent (where processing relies on consent).

To exercise any of these rights, DM us on @validateitnow on X. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.

8. International transfers

Your data may be processed in India, the United States, the European Union, and other regions where our sub-processors operate. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or other approved safeguards.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and security best practices to protect your data. No method is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
